Tom Armstrong - Team Leicestershire PC Head Coach
Tom, who until recently was coaching in New Zealand, has taken on the role of Head Coach at Team Leicestershire, having originally been involved in setting up the Leicestershire Performance Centre.Tom's badminton achievements include: Junior International from u15 to u21, over 20 junior caps including European Junior Quarter Finalist (2004); Top 10 ranked player in England (2008,2009,2010) Men’s and Mixed Doubles; Great Britain University Captain at 2008 World University Games, Braga; European University Champion Geneva 2009 Mixed Doubles; 2008 Yonex Welsh International EBU semi finalist Mixed Doubles; 2009 Croatian International EBU semi-finalist Mixed and Men’s Doubles; Current Top division Bundesliga Player for Hamburg VFL badminton club; First Team Captain of Loughborough University Team 2006,2007; SOTX Auckland International Champion Mixed Doubles 2012
Relevant Coaching History

Mark King
Former England top 10 ranked doubles player, Mark has represented Leicestershire's first team over 100 times and is the current county captain for Leicestershire. Mark still plays for Leicestershire’s first team as well as for Leicestershire’s vets.
Mark has coached at all levels from junior beginners through to England senior internationals.

Sam Ward

Anthony Clarke
Anthony recently retired from international badminton, having excelled at the highest level in the sport. He is one of Badminton’s most prolific and respected players gaining over 100 caps for England, winning seven Commonwealth medals, two World Championship medals and representing Great Britain at two Olympic Games. He is now a motivational speaker, athlete mentor, commentator and badminton coach.
