Badminton Performance Centre

Your pathway to success

About Team Leicestershire

Team Leicestershire Performance Centre was set up under the Badminton England Performance Centre initiative, initially through Loughborough Leys Badminton Club.  Since its launch in September 2009 it has gone from strength to strength, identifying young badminton players from local schools and coaching sessions, bringing them into our Team Leicestershire Raw Squads and onward through the Futures, Developing and Emerging Squads.  We are proud to have provided a pathway for our young players (up to the age of 19) into club, county and even national teams.

Our dedicated coaches, all successful badminton players in their own right, offer structured training sessions allowing our juniors to develop their skills and achieve their very best.

Badminton Performance Centres provide a platform to increase competitive opportunities and raise standards for all players. Badminton England's aspiration is to create hubs of badminton activity where players, coaches and volunteers can progress, reach their potential and satisfy their own ambition within the sport.  See the Badminton England PC information flyer.
